Gold Reaper EA MT5 is a gold-focused Expert Advisor for traders researching automated XAUUSD trading. This guide examines its published specifications, account evidence and setup questions so you can evaluate the software before purchasing or choosing a configuration.
The important decision is whether its trading approach, operational requirements and potential losses fit the account you intend to use. A rising historical chart cannot answer that question on its own.

The developer describes a system that trades breaks of support and resistance. Its website identifies Wim Schrynemakers as the developer and presents H1/XAUUSD as the supported operating setup, with a VPS recommended for continuity.

A breakout occurs when price moves beyond a level that previously contained it. For example, gold might move above a recent resistance area and continue upward. It can also reverse immediately, producing a false breakout.
This creates a practical question for any breakout robot: how do its losing entries compare with the gains from moves that continue? Evaluate the distribution of wins and losses, not just a screenshot of a successful trade.
Several strategies on one instrument may still lose together. Different entry rules do not necessarily provide independent exposure when every position depends on gold.
It belongs on a research shortlist if you want a dedicated gold system and can evaluate trade records, configuration changes and account limits.
It is a poor fit if you need guaranteed income, cannot tolerate losing periods or intend to copy settings without understanding the resulting exposure.
The strongest evidence would be a reproducible test and a sufficiently long forward record for the same build and configuration you plan to use. That evidence is more useful than an unsupported rating such as “9.8/10.”
Before choosing Gold Reaper EA MT5, examine its losses alongside its growth. The developer-linked Gold Reaper New V2 2 signal provides an account record you can explore on MQL5.
The supplied snapshot shows approximately 355% growth, US$5,363.12 profit and 16.9% maximum drawdown, with 102 weeks of recorded history. These figures describe one account’s historical performance, not the return you should expect.

The retrieved account page showed the following snapshot on 8 October 2026:
| Published signal field | Retrieved value |
| Growth | 345.29% |
| Profit | US$5,222.97 |
| Trades | 882 |
| Profit factor | 2.41 |
| Relative drawdown by balance | 16.89% |
| Relative drawdown by equity | 7.18% |
The platform also reported that 80% of the growth occurred within 32 days. This concentration matters: headline growth does not imply evenly distributed monthly returns.
These are platform-reported historical figures from one developer-linked account. The signal name does not establish that the whole history was produced using version 5.1 or a single unchanged preset. Balance and equity drawdown figures have their own calculation methods; retain the platform labels rather than treating them as interchangeable.
Some real-time details require login. This review does not independently verify broker statements, account ownership or every configuration change.

How does Gold Reaper perform across different accounts? Explore six Myfxbook records and compare reported gains with drawdown, equity, account type and trading history.
These records include MT5 and MT4 setups, real and demo accounts, and different named versions. Their results vary substantially—showing why the highest growth figure alone is not enough to choose an Expert Advisor or set file.
Data note: Figures below are historical indexed snapshots reviewed on 8 October 2026. Open each account to check its latest statistics and verification status.
| Account | Platform | Account type | Reported gain | Reported drawdown |
| ForexEALab | MT5 | Demo | +68.33% | 9.37% |
| TomaszReaper — Client Sets | MT5 | Real | +312.37% | 81.60% |
| IndicatorTrader | MT4 | Demo | +9.19% | 3.91% |
| Forex_EAs — v2.3 | MT4 | Demo | +47.85% | 4.40% |
| FintechForex — V3.3 | MT4 | Demo | +128.94% | 8.53% |
| fxmania1120 | MT4 | Demo | +2.35% | 23.97% |
These accounts are not a controlled comparison. Different periods, configurations, brokers and exposure can produce different outcomes. Account names do not independently establish which EA build produced every trade.
This record provides an MT5 demo example on Vantage Markets. It is relevant for examining simulated account behavior, but it does not establish real-money execution performance.
| Essential figure | Indexed snapshot |
| Account | Demo, USD |
| Broker / leverage | Vantage Markets / 1:500 |
| Gain | +68.33% |
| Drawdown | 9.37% |
| Profit | US$683.31 |
| Balance | US$1,683.31 |
| Equity | US$1,683.31 |
| Displayed update | August 17, 01:38; year omitted in retrieved text |
What matters: Balance and equity matched in this snapshot, so no balance-to-equity deficit was visible at that moment. That does not mean the account avoided floating losses throughout its history.
The retrieved data did not provide a reliable trade count or profit factor. Check these, the trading start date and the preset before using the record to evaluate your intended setup.

This real MT5 account deserves close attention because its headline growth appears alongside severe drawdown and a large balance-to-equity gap.
| Essential figure | Indexed snapshot |
| Account / broker | Real USD / RoboForex |
| Leverage | 1:500 |
| Gain / absolute gain | +312.37% / +148.81% |
| Drawdown | 81.60% |
| Reported profit | US$33,225.23 |
| Balance | US$35,552.36 |
| Equity | US$14,471.94 |
| Deposits / withdrawals | US22,245.73/US20,000 |
| Trades / profit factor | 2,209 / 1.29 |
What matters: Equity was US$21,080.42 below balance, calculated from the displayed figures. This gap shows why closed-trade profit should not be presented without open-position equity.
The reported drawdown indicates substantial historical risk. The account title references client sets, but the retrieved information does not establish their exact configuration or confirm exclusive use of one unchanged EA build.

IndicatorTrader’s record shows a small demo sample on XM. It provides historical MT4 context rather than evidence for the current MT5 edition.
| Essential figure | Indexed snapshot |
| Account / platform | Demo USD / MT4 |
| Broker / leverage | XM / 1:1000 |
| Gain / drawdown | +9.19% / 3.91% |
| Profit | US$91.83 |
| Balance / equity | US1,091.83/US1,091.83 |
| Deposits | US$1,000 |
| Trades / profit factor | 23 / 2.75 |
| Last displayed update | 31 May 2025, 16:47 |
What matters: Only 23 trades were reported, and the displayed update is old. A small sample offers limited evidence about behavior across changing market conditions.
Average winning and losing trades were US7.59and-US13.11 respectively. This illustrates why the size of losses matters alongside the winning percentage.

This EXNESS demo account is named Gold Reaper v2.3 and runs on MT4. Its figures should be kept separate from MT5 performance claims.
| Essential figure | Indexed snapshot |
| Account / platform | Demo USD / MT4 |
| Broker / leverage | EXNESS / 1:1000 |
| Gain / drawdown | +47.85% / 4.40% |
| Profit | US$239.28 |
| Balance / equity | US739.28/US739.28 |
| Reported deposits | US$1,043.94 |
| Trades / profit factor | 42 / 6.69 |
| Displayed update | April 24, 01:45; year omitted |
What matters: The profit factor looks strong, but it comes from only 42 reported trades. It should not be treated as proof of lasting performance.
Reported deposits exceed the displayed balance despite positive reported profit. Review the full cash-flow history and selected analysis period before attempting to reconcile those totals or calculate a simple return on deposits.

FintechForex provides a larger reported trade sample, but this remains a GBP-denominated demo account on MT4.
| Essential figure | Indexed snapshot |
| Account / platform | Demo GBP / MT4 |
| Broker label | IC |
| Gain / drawdown | +128.94% / 8.53% |
| Profit | £128,942.62 |
| Balance / equity | £228,942.62 / £228,942.62 |
| Deposits / withdrawals | £100,000 / £0 |
| Trades / profit factor | 1,136 / 2.29 |
| Average trade duration | 2 hours 49 minutes |
What matters: The large monetary profit must be considered alongside the £100,000 demo deposit. It is not an earnings estimate for a smaller account.
The snapshot included £2,207.20 in reported commissions. Compare costs and exposure as well as growth, and confirm the current update date directly; relative timestamps in indexed content do not establish present activity.

This older XM demo record demonstrates how positive closed-trade figures can coexist with substantially lower equity.
| Essential figure | Indexed snapshot |
| Account / platform | Demo USD / MT4 |
| Broker / leverage | XM / 1:500 |
| Gain / drawdown | +2.35% / 23.97% |
| Reported profit | US$117.37 |
| Balance | US$5,117.37 |
| Equity | US$3,970.70 |
| Deposits | US$5,000 |
| Trades / profit factor | 33 / 1.71 |
| Last displayed update | 19 March 2024, 03:45 |
What matters: Equity was US$1,146.67 below balance and below the reported deposits. The positive gain figure therefore does not describe the full account position at that snapshot.
Its age, small sample and MT4 platform limit its relevance to a current MT5 purchase. Use it as historical context rather than evidence of present performance.

For each account, confirm:
These records show different outcomes, not a single dependable return for Gold Reaper. Compare evidence that matches your intended platform and configuration, and examine losses with the same attention as gains.
Historical performance does not guarantee future results. Leveraged gold trading can cause substantial losses.
A backtest reconstructs trades on historical data under specified assumptions. It is not a live-money result, even when a report uses broker-supplied historical prices.
Before comparing reports, record the same information for each test:
| Test detail | Why it matters |
| EA build and preset | Software or settings changes can alter behavior |
| Broker and symbol specification | Contract size, lot increments and execution constraints affect exposure |
| Start and end dates | A favorable market period can conceal weaknesses |
| Initial deposit and sizing method | Compounding can magnify both gains and losses |
| Tick model and data coverage | Missing or simplified price paths can distort execution |
| Spread, commission and swaps | Costs change net performance |
| Execution-delay assumptions | Ideal fills may exaggerate a breakout strategy’s edge |
| Equity drawdown and open positions | Closed balance can conceal floating losses |
| Optimization procedure | Repeated tuning may fit historical noise |
Use an out-of-sample period that was not used to select settings. Repeat the experiment under less favorable costs and execution assumptions.
Also compare an unchanged configuration across different periods. Choosing a fresh preset after seeing each period’s results can make a weak system appear more consistent than it is.
The listing explains that automatic trade frequency uses account size and the drawdown input. Its total-drawdown setting informs historical-based sizing; a separate daily control closes trades and pending orders when triggered. Fixed StartLots requires manual frequency selection. OnlyUp can prevent sizing from decreasing after losses. Consult the current manual for exact behavior.

Historical-based sizing estimates risk using past behavior. Future price moves and fills can differ.
A target used to calculate lots is different from a live stop that reacts to account equity. Even a live protective action can execute beyond its threshold because the market moves between detection and execution.
Illustrative example: A US10,000accountfallstoUS9,000. Recovering the US$1,000 loss requires an 11.11% gain on the remaining equity. If monetary exposure stays unchanged after losses, it becomes larger relative to the smaller account.
This example explains risk arithmetic; it is not a Gold Reaper forecast or recommended preset.
There is no universally best Gold Reaper set file.
Start by identifying your monetary loss tolerance, broker specifications and operating constraints. Then test a configuration intended for your exact build. Keep the preset unchanged while evaluating it, and record the results before making a modification.
Change one decision at a time where practical. Otherwise, you cannot tell whether a difference came from exposure, entry selection or execution costs.
Avoid selecting a preset solely because it has the highest historical profit.
The release history records these changes:
| Release | Published change |
| 5.1 — 2 October 2026 | Trailing SL/TP code improvements |
| 5.0 — 2 October 2026 | Broker-session fix; CPI and interest-rate decision filters added |
| 4.9 — 30 September 2026 | Virtual SL/TP added |

A review of an older build may not describe today’s available controls.
If you select virtual protection, confirm where the protective levels are held and what happens during a terminal or connection outage. Protection managed by running software can behave differently from an order already held on a broker’s server.
Similarly, a news filter should be evaluated for its selected events, timing and failure behavior. It cannot prevent every unexpected announcement or every adverse fill.
The developer publishes a US$600 minimum and recommends low-spread execution and a VPS. These are starting specifications, not proof that every broker or account size is suitable.

Check your account before choosing exposure:
| Check | What to establish |
| Gold contract | Exact symbol, contract size, tick value and trading sessions |
| Position sizing | Minimum volume, volume step and permitted maximum |
| Costs | Typical and stressed spreads, commission and overnight financing |
| Orders | Stop-distance rules and supported order handling |
| Account mode | Confirm hedging/netting compatibility for the current package |
| Terminal | Use the build supported by the seller |
| Hosting | Reliable uptime, connection and a recovery procedure |
| Other trading | Include manual trades and other robots in the account risk budget |
A small balance can restrict sizing choices because the broker’s minimum trade volume sets a lower bound on exposure. An advertised minimum should not be interpreted as an appropriate deposit for every trader.
The following is a general MT5 workflow. Use the documentation delivered with your licensed build for product-specific permissions and settings.
Prevent duplicate instances from managing the same setup unintentionally. Keep a record of where the active instance runs.
An absence of trades does not by itself prove that the EA is broken. A selective system may wait, but technical and configuration problems also need investigation.
| Symptom | First checks |
| EA absent from Navigator | Edition, installation location and refresh |
| Attached but inactive | Algo Trading, EA permissions, login and market session |
| Invalid-volume error | Minimum lot, volume step and margin |
| Order rejected | Broker rejection code, stop-distance rules and order permissions |
| Filter-related message | Selected events, timing and required connectivity |
| Results differ from another account | Build, preset, symbol specifications, costs and trade times |
| VPS behavior differs | Migrated settings, active instance and logs |
Save the exact error text. Send the seller the build, preset, broker symbol and relevant logs while keeping account credentials private.
Do not increase risk or disable protective controls just to force a trade.
A prop-oriented configuration is not approval from your chosen firm.
Before using any EA in a challenge or funded account, check that firm’s current rules for automation, shared strategies, news trading, overnight exposure and consistency. Determine how it calculates losses and when the trading day resets.
A practical mismatch is possible: an EA may react to one account-risk measure while the firm enforces another. Open losses and other trades can consume the remaining allowance before a robot’s control acts.
Compare the EA’s documented behavior with the actual rulebook and leave room for execution differences. No historical simulation establishes a guaranteed challenge pass or payout.
Buy the edition that matches your terminal. An MT4 executable is not an MT5 executable, and a shared product name does not establish identical implementation.
Compare each edition’s release notes, settings, licensing and results separately. To evaluate performance differences, use matching market periods and monetary exposure rather than unrelated screenshots.

| Potential advantage to investigate | Limitation to keep in view |
| Focused instrument and defined setup | Gold concentration can create correlated exposure |
| Published documentation and release history | Publisher claims require verification |
| Public account evidence | One account may not represent your build or settings |
| Configuration choices | More choices can encourage overfitting |
| Automated execution | Hosting and execution still need monitoring |

It is marketed within the Expert Advisor category but focuses on gold. Check the instrument and setup in the product facts rather than assuming support for currency pairs.
No. A non-martingale system can still suffer severe losses through large positions, correlated entries, false breakouts or adverse execution.
No reliable fixed-income figure can be established from the reviewed evidence. Returns can be uneven, and losing months are possible.
Settings should be evaluated against your build, broker and account constraints. Historical profit alone is insufficient for selecting them.
No. Gaps and slippage can lead to a different fill. Also establish whether your selected protection depends on the terminal remaining online.
You can investigate its record, but copying a configuration does not ensure the same outcomes. Execution, timing and symbol specifications may differ.
A historical test helps assess behavior under assumptions. It does not establish future profitability or replace an appropriate forward evaluation.
Evaluate the full record and the purchase terms first. A recent winning period can make a system look more dependable than a longer history supports.

Gold Reaper EA MT5 offers a defined product to investigate, with published specifications, release notes and linked performance evidence. Those materials support a structured evaluation; they do not establish dependable income for a new buyer.
Before making a decision, verify the exact package and license, compare evidence at a consistent risk level and document your own test conditions. Choose exposure by the loss your account can withstand, not by the largest profit screenshot.
Risk notice: Leveraged gold trading can produce substantial losses. Historical and simulated results do not guarantee future returns. This page provides product research and general educational analysis, not personalized investment advice.
